Rural Health Development Project promotes social change by facilitating participatory processes aimed at empowering women, children, adolescents, and men to enhance their health status and improve their quality of life through improved health service delivery at the local level. It places special emphasis on empowering communities, particularly the most 'disadvantaged groups' through targeting and incentives, specific trainings and programs, and participation in decision-making processes. This report presents the performance of the Rural Health Development Project (RHDP) from 16 July 2007 to 15 July 2008.
Poverty together with social and gender discrimination in the society form a group of people called disadvantaged group (DAG). In this report, an attempt has been made to trace out such group of people based on the available data.
